The price lists are for reference only. Each job receives a tailored approach, so pricing is subject to change based on the requirements of your project.
We will communicate all cost estimates based on the proposed scope of work. We always employ the most cost effective approach while maintaining the highest quality standards.

SCANNING
Our scanning service provides you with the highest resolution files color-matched to the original for maximum enlargement and reproduction at your specified resolution. Full-Resolution - 24 Bit, RGB TIFF files in Pro-Photo working space can be delivered by Hightail or in person when you pick up your originals.
We can scan up to 40" x 60" original artwork up to 3 inches thick.
Scanning Service is typically a 1-3 day turnaround. If you require a guaranteed 24 hour turnaround, a 50% Rush fee will apply.

We offer retouching as a separate service so we can offer the most reasonable pricing for high resolution scanning. Please see our pricing for retouching services. We offer a range of retouching services, from basic clean-up to more in-depth work.
Originals that contain neon hues, metallic and gloss finishes-- including special pigments, can be challenging to capture. We will discuss possible concerns and solutions during your consultation.
Artwork Handling
All artwork must be dry and fixed. Oil paints, pigments, charcoal, graphite and pastel residue can permanently stain or damage equipment.
Framed artwork can be scanned with or without glass, but unframed artwork will allow for the best results.
Fragile artwork can be accommodated with advance notice.
Drop-Off/Pick-UP
Please use the calendar/scheduler to schedule a time to drop off your originals. You can also call or email to schedule. When you drop-off, we will schedule a date by which materials must be picked-up. Any artwork or originals must be collected by this date to avoid holding fees or potential disposal of items. State of the Art Reproductions is not responsible for any items held beyond their agreed collection date.
Artwork insurance and Limit of Liability
State of the Art Reproductions does not insure any artwork or originals that we take in for scanning. While we take the utmost care to handle and store artwork and originals in our possession, should any material submitted involve high value the onus is upon the client to assess their artwork and originals’ value and take out the appropriate measures to protect and insure it.
While we take every precaution for the safekeeping and handling of all artwork, painting, drawing, print, photograph, digital file, negative, and transparency, submitting these materials for processing, scanning, printing, or other handling constitutes an agreement by you that any damage or loss by our company, subsidiary, or agents due to unpredictable defects in materials, or even due to the negligence or other fault of our company, subsidiary, or agents, will entitle you only to replacement with a fair equivalent to your media costs.
Except for such replacement, the acceptance by our company, subsidiary, or agents of the film, print, slide, negative, transparency or artwork is without other warranty or liability, and recovery for any incidental or consequential damages is excluded. Should any material submitted involve high value the onus is upon the client to appropriately insure it. By placing an order, you hereby agree to all of the terms and policies outlined above.

Printing
Our giclée print process uses archival pigmented inks rated up to 140 years when printed on qualified grounds and properly maintained.
Our price sheet is organized into 3 categories:
1. Standard Giclée Media: Standard Archival Matte, Lustre, and Glossy (Epson brand or similar).
2. Premium Giclée Media: Hahnemühle 100% Cotton Photo Rag, 308 gsm matte.
3. Art Canvas. Prints up to 63 inches wide x virtually any length.
4. Mural Wall-Covering. Priced by the square foot based on material and quantity.
Custom Materials are available upon request.

Ground Options
Proofing
We offer a complimentary 8 x 10 inch proof for all orders $75 and over.
Additional proofs are charged at the standard 8 x 10 inch rate according to material type.
Finishing Services
We do not offer mounting, canvas stretching , framing or any other types of finishing. Frame shops offer the most practical and economical solutions for finishing and we will be happy to refer you to businesses who can provide any services that we do not.
Retouching
Digital Services cover Retouching, Photo Restoration, Color Correction, Conversions, AI Image Optimization, and all other Photoshop work. Please use our Inquiry form for any specific requests.
Our Digital Services always start with a complimentary consultation to establish the scope of work. We require a sign-off on any estimate prior to starting any work. We can use Zoom or Microsoft Teams to review artwork at any point of the process.
Standard retouching is $75/hr. Retouching is charged in 1 hour increments. We have a goal-oriented approach that combines reasonable pricing which allows for adequate time to complete projects. We tailor solutions to each project that are appropriately scaled for your budget.
Please note that all Digital Service work requires an upfront deposit based on agreed hours that is non-refundable.
